Currently, we are using UltraVolt’s E-Series high voltage power supply to test a product we are making that will be used to operate large machinery. This specific power supply supplies 800 V during a test to an industrial battery charger controller to the cutoff point so the product can be tuned with precision.

Hans Camenzind, 555 timer inventor, dies

On Wednesday, August 15th, the inventor of the 555 timer Hans Camenzind passed away. Camenzind was a Swiss emigre analog guru who invented one of the most successful circuits in electronics history and introduced the concept of phase-locked loop to IC design. The 555 timer was commercialized by Signetics in 1972, and" it went on to become one of the most successful in the industry's history. A View Into Touchstone's Process
