Compliance Engineering for Medical and Industrial Electronics

Typically our products require approval from various safety agencies (Intertek, UL, CSA, TUV, FCC and FAA Aviation requirements) and we take these requirements into account from the original concept phases of the design. By incorporating these requirements early on, we ensure that regulatory approvals are achieved as quickly as possible. We also work closely with several independent compliance labs and can manage the entire process for our customers.

Ensuring Full Regulatory Compliance for Your Electronics:

DICOM Compliant Monitors – While not completely regulatory in nature, many of our customers require medical imaging monitors to meet DICOM imaging standards. Touchstone offers years of experience in this area specializing in advanced medical and industrial displays.

UL60601 – Medical products require low leakage currents among other characteristics. These features are designed into the product from its inception in order to ensure all components meet the requirements to achieve UL certification.

FCC Class A/B, CE – Products sold worldwide are required to meet unwanted radiated emissions standards. We are very familiar with these requirements and our products are designed to comply from inception. We have over 20 years of experience and relationships with the local outside testing labs which allows us to achieve certifications quickly.

TUV and ETL – Products shipping internationally have to meet the safety requirements for the markets that they are shipping to. Our comprehensive design process makes sure international rules are complied with. We then can work with whichever outside agency our customer prefers to get certifications.

Additionally, our factory is regularly audited by all the major regulatory bodies ensuring compliance is continuously maintained.
